This little short shows the Cozmo robot meeting some Star Wars astromech droids after finishing a movie. If you ever played with the old Droid Factory toy, then you know just how unstable that R2 was and how much it loved to fall apart.
I made this to try out Cozmo robot as an actor. But mainly just to practice telling a story and use my equipment more. I’m happy with the results. There is much less stress when the short isn’t tied to a 60 second requirement.
I got to setup my camera to take H2n as an input. I was using my 7″ HDMI monitor. Plus my headset. I setup all my clamp lights b/c I shot this at night in my bedroom. I really went all out to practice with my gear.
This was shot on the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4k. With my fancy dancy Olympus 12-40mm 2.8 lens. I LOVE that lens.
